Inside Avenue is recruiting a Structures Engineer to support major structural components of highway, bridge and interchange construction programs in Southern California with a nationwide general contractor.


Project Work You'll Support
Structural packages include:

• Complex ramp structures and connectors
• Seismically enhanced bridge foundations and substructures
• Retaining systems, drilled shafts, cast-in-place concrete structures
• Structural components of large interchange modernization programs

Responsibilities

• Support structural calculations, reviews and engineering coordination
• Review structural submittals, rebar drawings, formwork plans and shop drawings
• Coordinate with field crews during concrete pours, erection, falsework and demolition
• Assist project management with cost tracking, material procurement and documentation
• Perform site inspections, QA/QC and compliance checks

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of structural or heavy civil engineering experience
• Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of concrete/bridge construction methods
• Ability to work closely with field and design teams
