Inside Avenue is representing a major West Coast heavy civil contractor who is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale, complex transportation infrastructure programs, including express lanes, major interchange reconfiguration and bridge/structural construction.


Project Work You'll Lead

This entails working on major long-duration transportation projects involving:

• A high-complexity interchange overhaul involving new ramp structures, seismic foundations, storm-drain systems and multimodal improvements
• A long-corridor highway widening and express-lane expansion, including bridge reconstruction, retaining structures and extensive drainage/electrical upgrades
• Additional structural replacement and highway systems improvements in Southern California

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership across multi-year, multi-discipline heavy civil programs
• Oversee contract management, cost performance, risk mitigation and schedule adherence
• Interface with state agencies, cities, designers, JV partners and executive leadership
• Lead planning, budgeting, staffing and team development
• Ensure top-tier performance in safety, environmental stewardship and quality
• Mentor Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of heavy civil experience with major transportation projects over $100M
• Strong leadership in design-build, CMGC or large bid-build work
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Polished communication and negotiation skills
