The Role
Bringing to bear your field engineering and estimating experience, you’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, subs, and suppliers to develop accurate cost estimates, constructability plans, and project schedules. Your input will drive competitive bids and successful project execution for large-scale heavy civil construction projects. Expect to prepare proposals and support bid closeouts across a range of complex civil scopes.
What You Will Do
- Develop estimates for materials, labor, and schedules
- Review drawings and specifications to identify scope
- Coordinate with subs, vendors, and internal teams
- Design temporary structures: shoring, falsework, formwork
- Support technical proposal writing and design-build pursuits
- Travel as needed for site visits and meetings
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management
- 5+ years in estimating and field engineering roles related to bridge, marine, or large-scale concrete projects
- Proficiency in HCSS, Hard Dollar, Bluebeam, or similar software
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Detail-focused and team-oriented mindset
