Project Work You'll Lead
Seattle's active heavy civil program includes:
- Construction of two new earthquake-resilient bridge structures over a major bay
- A new bicycle/pedestrian corridor and multimodal trail
- A large landscaped lid reconnecting neighborhoods over the freeway
- Multi-mile freeway expansion including managed lanes and utility/drainage upgrades
Responsibilities
- Lead heavy civil project teams across structures, roadway, utility and grading scopes
- Manage cost, schedule, procurement and subcontractor performance
- Coordinate interfaces with consultants, agencies and third-party stakeholders
- Drive safety, environmental and QA/QC performance
- Mentor engineers and field staff, developing the next generation of project leaders
Qualifications
- 7+ years of heavy civil project management experience
- Strong background in bridges, structures or transportation infrastructure
- Bachelor's in engineering or construction-related field preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
