Inside Avenue is representing a nationwide heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major highway widening, interchange modernization and bridge replacement projects across the Inland Empire and Los Angeles metro.


Project Work You'll Lead
Current regional programs involve:
  • A multi-mile freight and express-lane corridor expansion, including roadway widening, retaining systems, extensive drainage upgrades and multiple bridge modifications
  • A multi-phase interchange reconstruction supporting freight, commuter and port traffic
  • Structural replacements on critical highway connectors

Responsibilities
  • Lead project execution across self-perform and subcontracted scopes
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, cost controls and contract compliance
  • Oversee scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management and coordination with public agencies
  • Ensure jobsite safety, environmental compliance and QA/QC performance
  • Interface with subcontractors, design partners, utilities, cities and regulatory agencies
  • Develop team talent and mentor engineers

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction
  • Proven success on highway, bridge, or interchange projects
  • Strong leadership, planning and client-interaction experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
